A major New Forest landmark, Bolton's Bench is situated on the outskirts of Lyndhurst right in the centre of the New Forest. Shortly after the triangulation pillar, take the path to the right, down the hill to meet the Beaulieu Road. Go past the barrier road and cross the road and head down the short gravel path opposite.
